Varand is a graduate of Queen’s University in Canada and has consulting Electrical Engineer in California since 2007. He has been able to apply his innovative electrical engineering approach to the power and lighting design for various project types for new constructions and renovations. Varand has vast experience in residential multi-family and high rise residential design.

Varand began his career in Los Angeles at IBE Consulting Engineers. A firm well known for sustainable design. He had the opportunity to work on various civic, education, museums, and mixed use projects during his tenure at that firm.
